Mid term review Five Musical Tasks

Today we reviewed the work of the last five weeks . We were joined by a familiar special guest Mr Shannon on tenor  banjo so we had live accompaniment for all our tasks.   Here is today's  programme.

Drunken Sailor   (Sneak preview of next lesson , first finger down  on D string  to make E )
Balloon Bows to  Ireland's Call .
Down Up Bows    piano Mr Shannon improvised around our  Rock You down up  riff on A . Remember just a little bit of bow 


Mr Shannon told  us that the banjo is a distant cousin of the violin .It comes from Africa and also has strings GDAE . There now !

Leaders included Ciara, Eugene, Rohan,  David    Lots of people had our new special tokens for good effort.
